vibe code
darlings

deploy something, darling.

a paid discord for people building weird, beautiful things with AI. agents, games, tools, art, unhinged little apps that shouldn't work but do. come build yours with company.

founding seats get claimed from the waitlist, in order. joining is free. no card, no catch.

// the situation

you're building alone at 1am and it's getting weird

you've got an agent half-built, a project graveyard with excellent lighting, and nobody in your real life who gets why "it finally deployed" made you emotional.

the AI building world is either bro-coded hustle servers or corporate webinars with a Q&A nobody asked questions in. there was no room for people who build cute, chaotic, personal stuff. so i made one.

// what you get

everything a darling needs

01 community

the darlings

a capped, curated discord of people actually building with AI — not just posting screenshots of other people building with AI. small enough that people know your project's name.

02 resource

the prompt vault

my working prompt systems, agent architectures, and build templates, dripped in monthly. the stuff i use on real client work and real deploys. not theoretical "50 chatgpt prompts" filler.

03 access

friday office hours

one live hour a week with me. bring the bug, the half-idea, the "is this stupid or brilliant" question. recorded for the time zones, because scotland is a choice i made.

04 accountability

deploy culture

weekly standups and build threads that make you finish things. not hustle culture — finish culture. the perfection loop dies in here. i'll hold the door.

02 / 06

// the rhythm

a week in the darlings

monday

deploy standup

what are you deploying this week? say it out loud. now it's real and we're all watching. lovingly.

wednesday

show your build

screenshots, links, broken demos, mid-crisis progress. ugly builds welcome. ugly builds celebrated, honestly.

friday

office hours with allie

live troubleshooting, prompt surgery, strategy gut-checks. one hour. come chaotic, leave unblocked.

monthly

darling spotlight

one member, one build, one interview. featured in the community and beyond. your project gets its flowers.

03 / 06

// honesty hour

this is for you. or it isn't

join if you yes

  • are building (or dying to build) with AI — apps, agents, games, tools, art
  • have three unfinished projects and one dream
  • want feedback from people who will actually open the link
  • think "cozy" and "technical" belong in the same sentence
  • would rather deploy something imperfect than perfect nothing

skip it if you no

  • want a get-rich-with-AI scheme (log off, drink water)
  • plan to lurk-and-pitch the members
  • think AI should replace human creativity instead of amplifying it
  • need someone to build it for you — that's a different service, and it's not this

fine, waitlist me →

same waitlist — early birds just get the better deal

note

the 50-seat cap is the actual cap, not marketing theater. when founding closes, it closes. the waitlist runs through launchpass — joining it is free, you get your invite when a seat opens, and you can cancel your membership in two clicks. no exit interview, no guilt-trip email sequence. source: my own rules, no cap.

05 / 06

// not fine print

the ethics part

everything taught, shared, and built inside vcd runs on one non-negotiable: AI amplifies human work. it never replaces it.

that means we credit our sources, we disclose our AI use, we don't build things designed to deceive people, and we treat "a human made this decision" as a feature. my own content and client work carries an AI disclosure page, and i'll show you how to build yours.

if that sounds like unnecessary friction to you, respectfully — this isn't your room.

// questions

before you ask

what does "vibe code" even mean?
building software by describing what you want to AI tools and iterating until it works — vibes first, syntax second. you steer, the AI types, you learn constantly along the way. no CS degree required. curiosity extremely required.
why a waitlist?
because fifty founding seats and a curated room means letting people in deliberately, not all at once. joining the waitlist is free and takes about thirty seconds through launchpass. when your seat opens, you get the invite and the founding rate — first come, first served, no queue-jumping.
i'm not technical. can i hang?
if you can write a paragraph describing what you want to exist, you can vibe code. several channels are specifically for beginners, and "i have no idea what i'm doing" is a valid monday standup entry.
how much time does this take?
as much as you want. standups take two minutes. office hours are optional and recorded. this is a room, not a curriculum — there's no falling behind because there's no assigned pace.
what if i join and it's not for me?
cancel anytime through launchpass, effective at the end of your billing month. no forms, no retention specialist, no "before you go" survey. if it's not your room, it's not your room.
is my founding rate actually locked forever?
yes. as long as your membership stays active, $29/month is your price for the life of the community — through every price increase, every new feature, everything. that's the whole point of being founding.
